LEMON LUST WITH SOUR CHERRY COMPOTE
Contrasting flavors of lemon and cherry make for a great dessert that’s not overly sweet. Gourmet in a flash.
- 6 Lemon Lusts
- 1 jar pitted sour cherries in light syrup (24 ounces)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon corn starch dissolved in 2 tablespoons water
Drain juice from cherries into a saucepan and add sugar. Bring to boil over medium heat. Stir in dissolve corn starch. Add cherries. Reduce heat and cook gently until liquid is reduced in half (about 10 minutes) and sauce has thickened. Spoon half a cup over a Lemon Lust sliced into four portions.
